Desensitisation
When pups are just 3 days old, we initiate Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI).
The benefits of ENS and ESI include:
Boosted brain development
Improvement in circulation and pups' immune systems
Stimulates the neurological system
Improves stress responses in later life.

When pups reach 16 days old, we commence the Badass Breeder Curriculum, which we continue right up until the day the puppies leave us.
Every day, we use playlists to continually expose the pups to all sorts of noises (from machinery sounds, to banging pots in the kitchen, babies crying, doorbells ringing, children squabbling, cats meowing, etc). We play these sounds so the pups become so accustomed to the noise that they learn it's nothing to fear. We do the same thing with different surfaces (swapping out lino for tiles then skateboards, and planks, wood, metal, fkae grass etc) and same for objects (prams, walking sticks, chairs, balls, toys, games, etc).
At 6 weeks old, we conduct temperament testing, also known as Puppy Evaluations, which assess 12 key traits: Assertiveness
Confidence
Motivation Level
Nerve Strength/Resilience
Touch Tolerance
Energy Level
Sound Sensitivity
Sight Sensitivity
Prey Drive
Human Focus
Tenderheartedness
Dog Friendliness.

Pups aren't scored as 'good' or 'bad', rather the assessments show us how sensitive a dog is to certain stimuli. This process significantly assists us when allocating pups. For example, if a puppy is sensitive to sound, they may be better suited to a retired couple or family with older children. If a pup has high prey drive, we wouldn't place it into a home if there are free range chickens meandering around the backyard.

This is why we value detailed applications, because we really want to give you the pup that's the best possible fit.
